I hope that’s a good thing haha. I found the way you phrased that statement quite like the questions I like myself so in a way your work mirrored my consciousness back to me. For me that’s a great skill in writing.
I love your words, always. Thank you for sharing. I am glad you are here and you free felled into Substack. I enjoy our haiku's and your beautiful poetry. Keep on keepin' on.
I get it Wildflower. I’ve made enough bad choices in my life that I truly thought was ideal for me. We can’t beat ourselves up but only learn from the experience. It’s hard to trust but if we trust ourselves, that’s the best start. I feel all your past pain and commend you for your strength. These words and photos are beautifully vulnerable!✨
The tension between safety and stagnation here is haunting.
I love how the poem doesn’t rush the break it listens to the hesitation.
Thank you so much for reading and fully understanding, Samu. 🩶
"But I guess a free fall is better than staying in custody." I had to lie down for a while after reading that.

Thank you so much, dear nadia. ❤️❤️❤️
This was different which made it land even more profoundly. Such an interesting frame, you're really creative! My favourite part was
" am
I
stable?"
Couldn't help but both sigh and laugh at that part. It takes one to know one. Beautifully done.
Thank you so much, imi. 🤍 You’re the first to find my stuff kinda funny. 😆 I’m glad you liked it.

Yes, definitely!! 😘
I like questioning, it’s less descriptive, more reflective. Like you said, mirroring.
Thank you so much for engaging with my work. I really appreciate you! 🫶🏻❤️

Thank you so much for reading and feeling it, Jo-Ann. 🤍 It’s always the opportunities we didn’t take, that we regret.
Yes, it’s true so from this day forward, no regrets! 💐

The great unknown. You gave words to that uneasy feeling. Beautiful!
Thank you so much for your kind words, Rea. 🤍
A powerful poem, which explores the vulnerability of “stay with the risks of the known … or the risks of the unknown”.
The photographs support the words and the phases of the journey.
Thank you so much, Mark. 🤍 Last year made me realize that staying because of fear is a problem I have to work on.
Beauty lies in finding and embracing your inner strengths.
