transience
October sentiment
rusty petals
slightly cover
the dormant soil
I hear them
decompose
beneath
my ruthless step
the concave sound
of impending absence
decayed flowers
extending
black blossoms
towards a decreasing sun
starving
for nurturing
vigor
their brittle frames
shivering
from the gentle touch
of hibernal cold
a faint ray
of autumnal glance
elusively caressing
my skin
thirsty for
smothering faith
voraciously
soaks in
the promise
of resurrection
as I walk
through a scenery
of golden foliage
dripped from bare branches
the bittersweet taste
of transience
moistens my lips
I feel
winter‘s chill
coming closer
the fading smell
of burnt leaves
fills the lush
October air
aureate particles
dancing
in a radiating swirl
wrapping me up
in delicate coziness
my body longs
for hibernation

An autumn wander with wildflower. Capturing the essence of this season. Through words and pictures.
🙏
I've been focusing more on the horror side of October. This reminds me to notice my surroundings more, to learn from nature, because it has endless wisdom to impart.
Beautifully composed. 🍂
