black treacle
in her lungs

the viscid matter
in her throat

she can’t
dilute
the viscosity
bursting inwards
—she disintegrates pain stings
as she
smashes
the surface
moving
through
shattered
fragments
of herselfambiguous spectres egress out of vague dullness —become (too) distinct narrowing suffocating glistening, shrill flashbacks crackle on her crack her —again the fissures fill up with dark liquid as she crosses the portal
